West Michigan Beer Tours is dedicated to providing beer lovers with fun, flavorful and relaxing tours. We encourage every passenger to drink responsibly and have a designated driver. After each tour we will also provide access to a local taxi service. While we encourage everyone to purchase beer at the breweries to take with you, we do not allow any consumption on the buses. If any of our tour directors have reason to believe that a person is intoxicated prior to a tour, we reserve the right to turn them away. If a person is turned away due to intoxication no refund will be provided.
Unless a tour is cancelled all tours are non-refundable.
Please note: The tours below appear in reverse chronological order.
The Kalamazoo Beer Cup is a craft beer style showcase for Kalamazoo-area breweries where a specific style of beer is selected and several local breweries present their take on the style in a blind tasting of the public.
Your ticket includes a flight of four five-ounce pours, access to an appetizer buffet and some history on the specific beer style. For this installment, we’ve selected Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stouts — a hugely popular style of beer this time of the year.
These are some of the more popular and unique approaches to BBA Stouts in the Kalamazoo area. While you may know the breweries participating, you won’t know which beer is which until after voting is complete.
The event will also featured a brief history about the particular beer style.
The beers and breweries will not be identified and guests will rank their favorites on a score card. The top scoring brewery will keep the Kalamazoo Beer Cup at the brewery until the next installment of the event — think the Stanley Cup of local beer.

Get in the Halloween mood with this spooky bus tour featuring a brewery with a haunt, one of Kalamazoo’s best haunted attractions and try some great fall seasonal beers. Be prepared for a night of frights, flights and fun.
Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded to some of our favorites!
Our Halloween tour will begin at Old Burdick’s inside the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo where pumpkin ales, hard ciders and other autumn classics will be on tap. The group will then make the short jaunt west to Paw Paw Brewing Co. where the crew will get you in the spirit of the season with fall ales and perhaps a few scary surprises. From there, we’ll make way to Psycho Ward & Nightmares, one of Kalamazoo’s best haunted attractions tucked into the woods behind the Kalamazoo Speedway. Enjoy VIP access to one of the haunted attractions while trying a Michigan pumpkin ale.
We’ll then conclude with a quick ride north to Plainwell’s Old Mill Brewpub for a tour of the more than 100-year-old building known to be inhabited by a few ghosts.
