Get in the Halloween mood with this spooky bus tour featuring a brewery with a haunt, one of Kalamazoo’s best haunted attractions and try some great fall seasonal beers. Be prepared for a night of frights, flights and fun.
Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded to some of our favorites!
Our Halloween tour will begin at Old Burdick’s inside the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo where pumpkin ales, hard ciders and other autumn classics will be on tap. The group will then make the short jaunt west to Paw Paw Brewing Co. where the crew will get you in the spirit of the season with fall ales and perhaps a few scary surprises.
From there, we’ll make way to Psycho Ward & Nightmares, one of Kalamazoo’s best haunted attractions tucked into the woods behind the Kalamazoo Speedway. Enjoy VIP access to one of the haunted attractions while trying a Michigan pumpkin ale.
We’ll then conclude in downtown Kalamazoo with a stop at Olde Peninsula Brewpub. Guests can select any pint on the menu. You are also encouraged to get a beer to-go and participate in Skeletour, a month-long celebration during October where streets are adorned with skeletons representing great local businesses. From creepy and scary to funny and silly, there’s a skeleton for every taste!

Includes brewer meet-and-greet, tour and pint. Paw Paw Brewing Company was established in early 2010 by brother-in-laws Ben Fleckenstein and Ryan Sylvester, placed in the small village of Paw Paw on the banks of the Paw Paw River surrounded by beautiful wilderness. The idea behind Paw Paw Brewing Company was to create a place where the community could gather and connect with one another over a pint of locally hand crafted beer. In early December 2010 the door opened for business with four beers on tap, St. James English Mild, Black River Oatmeal Stout, Paw Paw Wheat and 2Paws IPA. Paw Paw Brewing Company’s grand opening celebration was January 21, 2011.

Some have even survived—but not without years of intensive therapy. What disturbing twist on Floyd’s unique form of dismemberment and bloodletting does he have in store for you this year? There’s only one way to find out—if you dare! Nightmares take many forms, but the new NIGHTMARES attraction will take your fears to shocking new depths. Nightmares will tap into the part of your brain that only stirs during your darkest nights. It will dissect your psyche and spread it like fertilizer across the speedway grounds. So come face your Nightmares, but leave the little ones at home—otherwise they will be sleeping in your bed for months to come.
