KALAMAZOO, MI — The year of expansion for One Well Brewing continues.

The Kalamazoo brewery, which opened at 4213 Portage St. in November, 2014, announced today another expansion project for the business, just a few months after sharing details of another large-scale project.
At the start of 2016, One Well announced it would be expanding production operations to a 10,000-square-foot building near its Milwood neighborhood taproom.
While work continues on the production space at 3618 Gembrit Circle, One Well said in a press release it will expand the taproom by about 3,600-square-feet by utilizing the neighboring space formerly home to Snap Fitness.
Co-owner T.J. Waldofsky said he hopes construction on the taproom expansion will be completed by the brewery’s second anniversary party on Nov. 25. Seating will expand to about 250 between both spaces, Waldofsky said.
The big year for One Well also includes adding longtime brewery Trevor Klimek to its company and being named the No. 10 New Brewery in Michigan by MLive.com.

The Milwood neighborhood staple, located at 4213 Portage St., Kalamazoo, MI, has reached a lease agreement to expand into the space adjacent to their current tap room. The new addition – previously occupied by Snap Fitness – will more than double their seating capacity and provide an opportunity for larger events and gatherings.
“Heck yes!”, exclaimed T.J. Waldofsky, co-owner of One Well Brewing. “The ability to double our seating capacity is going to give our customers an even better experience and allow us to explore more fun and creative things that we haven’t been able to do in our current space.”
The news of the tap room expansion comes in parallel to the announcement of One Well’s recent purchase of a 10,000 square foot facility in Kalamazoo that will primarily be used to produce more beer to meet the demand of their tap room and distribution sales. They also hope that this new facility will allow them to increase accessibility to canning and bottling products for stores, bars and restaurants.
In conjunction with Kalamadoodle’s two-year anniversary party, One Well Brewing will be celebrating their recent expansions on Wednesday, Aug. 17 as a part of this year’s Tap Takeover on The Mall series finale. The free event, in partnership with Maple Hill Auto Group, will feature One Well beer and food, live art demonstrations and live music performed by Groovement.
