  • Duration: 2 hours

As part of the Kalamazoo Public Library’s 4th annual Overdue Brew programs, a series of events celebrating local beer and literacy, West Michigan Beer Tours is collaborating on an event showcasing the city’s brewing history and its growth of the last few years.

Along with Kalamazoo Public Library historian Keith Howard, this short bus tour around Kalamazoo will share what the city was like prior to prohibition, how going dry effected the city and its place as the birthplace of Michigan’s brewery resurgence.

Each guest will receive a drink ticket to redeem for a beer at the Bell’s Eccentric Cafe prior to departure.
