Public Tours

WMBT-76-2546705050-OWest Michigan Beer Tours offer a variety of public tours. A typical public bus tour will last approximately 5 hours and transportation will be 29 person mini-coach buses. Most tours will include:

  • 3 Brewery Stops
  • Tour director knowledgeable in both the beer industry and our local area
  • Introduction to brewery owners and/or brewers
  • Tours of their facility
  • Sample at each brewery

West Michigan Beer Tours is dedicated to providing beer lovers with fun, flavorful and relaxing tours. We encourage every passenger to drink responsibly and have a designated driver. After each tour we will also provide access to a local taxi service. While we encourage everyone to purchase beer at the breweries to take with you, we do not allow any consumption on the buses. If any of our tour directors have reason to believe that a person is intoxicated prior to a tour, we reserve the right to turn them away. If a person is turned away due to intoxication no refund will be provided.

Unless a tour is cancelled all tours are non-refundable.

West Michigan Beer Tours is partnering with Girlfriends Getaway — a series of social events in downtown Kalamazoo on March 11 — to offer a short walking tour of downtown Kalamazoo breweries.

You can sample beer at two brewery stops and meet the brewers who make some of Kalamazoo’s best beer. The tour is scheduled between the fashion show at The Union and the “Magic Mike” screening at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

Itinerary
Origination: The Union, 3 p.m. registration with 3:30 p.m. departure
Stop 1: Gonzo’s BiggDogg Brewing, samples or pint, tour, 3:45-4:15 p.m.
Stop 2: Tibbs Brewing Co., samples, tour, 4:30-5 p.m.
Termination: Alamo Drafthouse Cinema for “Magic Mike” screening, 5:15 p.m.
